My journey from dreaming of veterinary medicine to crafting realistic animal replicas!
My name is Irina Prostova. I am an artist specializing in realistic soft animal sculptures.
I began creating these soft sculptures in 2017.
Since childhood, stuffed animals have always been my favorite toys. I once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but as I approached graduation, I realized that I wouldn't be able to handle the emotional and psychological demands of that profession. However, I have always loved caring for and observing animals—their forms, habits, and unique personalities. I never imagined that many years later, this passion would evolve into my career.
My workshop is located in Moscow. I accept custom orders and ship my works worldwide.
As a rule, most of my pieces are made to order, but occasionally, ready-to-ship toys become available.

About Realistic Plush Animals
I create my realistic toys using artificial materials; I do not use any real animal parts in my work. The primary material is high-quality faux fur.
All the animals are fully poseable thanks to a special internal armature (skeleton). They can take various poses: sitting, lying down, or standing. Some animals also feature a movable jaw.
Every element (noses, claws, jaws, etc.) is handcrafted by me, meticulously following the animal's anatomy. I pay immense attention to the detailing of each piece.
Each soft toy is a one-of-a-kind (OOAK) creation with its own unique character. A 100% exact replica of a previously made character is impossible.
The creation time for one toy typically ranges from 2 weeks to 2.5 months.
